The club were long term admirers of Douglas and managed to convince him to sign on for the 19/20 season. An important member of the team, Douglas is throws everything he has into the game. His importance on match days comes through his non-stop running, ball winning and tough tackling. Always leading by example and letting his playing do the talking. Dougie has been used mainly as a centre mid for Thistle.
